Do you love to write, edit, proofread, and create amazing content to help individuals, business owners, and entreprenuers achieve their goals? Social Star is looking for a copywriting expert to join the team in-house to provide a variety of word-related tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Determine advertising approaches for individual clients by consulting with clients and management, using Social Star methodology, and studying client products and services.
- Write social media content to run across various social media platforms as appropriate for each client.
- Remain up to date with industry trends.
- Provide copywriting services for a variety of customers, brands, and businesses as needed.
- Write and/or review copy for publication to ensure conformity with accepted rules of grammar, style, and format.
- Collect and analyse facts about industry and write materials to be used on company website and for potential and existing customers.
Main Duties:
- Through providing copywriting, research, and proofing , continually improve Social Star website and social media channels to increase lead generation and traffic.
- Research and report monthly on proposed changes and improvements and report on last month’s changes.
- Reviewing copy for online publication to ensure correct language style is used, including grammar and spelling.
- Write appropriate social media posts to promote client visibility and achieve client goals.
- Investing, interviewing and researching technical and industry-based information for posts, newsletters, and publications.
- Create, write, and manage newsletters and social media posts in conjunction with the Community Manager.
Qualification/s Required:
- Higher education degree in English, marketing, or a related field.
Essential Skills:
- Background and competence in marketing-related copywriting.
- Creativity and ability to think outside of the box.
- Ability to work in a team environment and make decisions with other staff members.
- Working knowledge of LinkedIn and social media scheduling software.
- Ability to understand and grasp the culture and objectives of individual businesses and brands, in order to quickly and accurately.
- Ability to be productive working independently.
Employment Experience:
- Minimum 2 years working in writing related field.
- Minimum experience 5 years providing copywriting services.
- Experience working independently.
- Experience preparing the writing of others for various uses.
